Terms & Conditions

Delivery Policy: We will send info electronically via email as a PDF document unless otherwise agreed the same day or next working day after the transaction of payment.

Private Charters: Payment is required in full by return to secure the booking, they are non-refundable but fully transferable.

Non Attendance: A Powerboat Days Charter automatically becomes invalid.

Amendment of Date: If you need to amend the confirmed date you have booked, we require at least 30 days’ notice to do so. In the event that we are unable to book you in for an alternative date due to being fully booked you may be required to extend your charter availibilty for 12 months at a cost of £250.00.

Charter Description: The stated duration of the charter is a guide only and may differ slightly. Exact timing can depend on the weather, season and charter capacity. All photographs and descriptions used in Powerboat Days promotional material are only intended to give a general but good description of each charter.

Postponement of Charter: We reserve the right to postpone any charter due to unforeseen circumstances. This includes but does not limit to adverse weather conditions and mechanical breakdown and could occur on the day of the charter (but is very rare). In this event, there is no guaranteed option to go on an alternative boat.

In any cases of postponement, we will contact you as soon as it is possible after which, the charter guests are advised to contact Powerboat Days to arrange an alternative date at no additional cost.

Powerboat Days will not be responsible for any charter refund, hotel, travelling costs or parking costs.

Weather: We can only be guided by the weather forecast 24 hours before the event and the weather forecast can be incorrect.

On very rare occasions, on arrival at the Marina;

a) the wind could be stronger than forecast and the charter will be cancelled.
or
b) the weather could be fine but on reaching the Solent (open sea) the conditions could be worse than forecast. As safety is always paramount, the charter will carry on but in the safest way, which could mean changing the route but ensuring that all the main elements of the charter will still continue.

In the event of b) above, the Skipper would address all charter guests during the charter to explain the situation and discuss an alternative but equally enjoyable time. This, however, could be in more sheltered areas, rather than continuing to original destination.

Waiver: A waiver must be signed on arrival by guests stating that they attend or participate entirely at their own risk and will not hold Powerboat Days or any individuals responsible in the event of injury.

Confidentiality: Privacy Policy. We do not intend to store or currently store financial details (credit or debit card numbers). All confidential information is used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Therefore, we do not store any financial details in any form.

Terms: Powerboat Days reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notification.

Problems on the Day: If you encounter any problems, please contact the management at Powerboat Days within seven days from date of the charter, so that they have the opportunity to put it right. info@powerboatdays.co.uk
